SpaceTek UK installs Starlink across Shropshire, Staffordshire and the North Wales borders, including Shrewsbury, Wem, Whitchurch, Wrexham, Welshpool, Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford. For rural homes and businesses, the work starts with the available sky view and a plan for getting the connection to the right buildings.

Towns and areas we cover
- North Shropshire – Shrewsbury, Wem, Whitchurch, Prees, Market Drayton, Ellesmere and Oswestry.
- South Shropshire – Much Wenlock, Church Stretton, Ludlow and Bridgnorth.
- Staffordshire – Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford (Stafford guide), Leek, Cannock, Penkridge and the Staffordshire Moorlands.
- North Wales borders – Wrexham, Welshpool, Holywell, St Asaph, Mold and the Dee valley.
What an installation here usually involves
- Farms, smallholdings and equestrian sites. A barn or pole mount with a clear horizon, and a cable or wireless link back to the house and outbuildings.
- Timber-framed and older brick properties. Fixings and cable entries planned around the structure rather than through it.
- Hill and valley sites. Steep ground can obstruct the required sky view from an otherwise convenient wall. Compare alternative positions using the Starlink app; a pole is one option to assess, not a guaranteed solution.
- Market towns and estates. The usual obstruction is a neighbouring roof; the usual oversight is router position.
Connect the buildings that need internet
A farmhouse, office, workshop and stable block can have very different requirements. Identify which buildings need a connection, the distance between them and any existing network routes before deciding where to mount the dish. Our guide to connecting farms and rural businesses explains the choices for distributing a connection across a site.
For a home or business considering Starlink alongside an existing line, the Stafford broadband replacement and backup guide explains the distinction. An alternative internet connection does not automatically provide failover without suitable network equipment.
What affects a quote across the border counties?
Include the postcode, access arrangements and the approximate route between the dish position and the rooms or outbuildings to connect. Older walls, a remote mounting point or several network links can change the scope substantially. Read what affects the cost of a Starlink installation before comparing quotations.
Rural installation questions
Will a pole solve a valley or hillside obstruction?
Only if the proposed height and position clear the relevant obstruction. Compare candidate positions with the Starlink app; steep ground, trees or nearby buildings can still make a location unsuitable. The guide to wall, pole and roof mounting options explains the options.
Can you install or relocate a kit I already have?
Yes. Send the exact model and explain whether it is a new permanent position or a replacement for an existing mount. Include any problem areas in the indoor Wi-Fi so they can be considered at the same time.
